Our Beginning

In 2011 Ralph Easterwood, the late Pastor of Glen Haven Baptist Church and devoted former Chaplain with the Henry County Police Department, established the Benevolence Fund for the Henry County Police Department. Brother Ralph, who passed away in 2021, not only completed over 420 ride-alongs with the department but also passionately recognized the profound financial and emotional stress faced by First Responders. Adding to his legacy, he kindled the inaugural spark of generosity with the establishment of the First Annual Benefit Ride in 2012. His unwavering commitment continues to radiate through the Ralph Easterwood Wings for Warriors Benevolence Fund, persistently providing passionate support and relief to the families of First Responders in acknowledgement of their noble service.
